Researchers in Vancouver believe that myo-inositol may even prevent lung cancer. They provided large daily doses of 18 grams to sufferers of advanced precancerous bronchial dysplasia and achieved grate reduction of the abnormal cells in three months time.
Dr. Stephen Lam of the BC Cancer Agency said that, although more research is required, scientific community is very optimistic about the therapeutic properties of inositol.
Other studies worldwide have shown that inositol can improve reproduction ability, maintain proper cholesterol levels and control the secretion of insulin.
